Candle FAQs

What are Scent Notes?
"Notes" describe the scents you smell as the candle burns.
Top notes are the first scents that you smell and introduce the candle.
Middle notes balance and harmonize the top and base notes together.
Base notes are the heavier and longer lasting scents which round out the candle burning experience.
How do I light my candle?
Always trim the wick before lighting. Trim by cutting off just the bloom with a pair of scissors or a wick trimmer.  Then let the candle burn until the melt pool reaches the sides of the jar. This will ensure a clean and even burn every time with no waste.
Will the candles let off soot and stain my walls?
No.  Our cotton wicks do not contain any metal, which is what produces black soot in commercial candles.
How long will my candle burn?
Soy wax burns twice as long as paraffin wax. Our 16 oz. jars burn for 90-100 hours.
